In the framework of the implementation of the European Cross-Border Territorial Cooperation Programme “Interreg V-A Greece-Italy 2014-2020” with title: “Creative@Hubs – Holistic networking of creative industries via Hubs” – an e-platform was created with digital tools for the support, collaboration and networking of SMEs in the creative sector.
The creation of 4 main supporting pillars, provides the possibility for users to network, train and also discover and/or promote products and services related to the creative industries on a transnational level.
The main e-tools are:
1) Teleconference/e-collaboration.
By using this tool, the member users can easily organize, to manage and archive online meetings.
2) E-learning.
Member users have access to educational material of 11 subject areas
- Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) & Contracts in the Arts,
- Management of Works of Art and Culture,
- Skills Development in the Arts,
- Audience Development,
- New Technologies & Digital Platforms,
- Hubs and Networking,
- Entrepreneurship & Business Models in the Cultural & Creative Industries sector,
- Communication and social media,
- Fundraising and grant writing (with an emphasis on planning and submitting proposals for funding),
- Cultural and Creative Industries and their impact on local society,
- Design Thinking with notes, videos, presentations and self-assessment questionnaires.
3) Networking Hub.
It provides member users with the advantage of interfacing with the world of business and research, discovering, among others, solutions to personalized needs.
4) Business Portal.
Member users have the ability to discover and/or to promote creative business products and services.
The e-platform was developed by the Institute of Computer Technology and Publications “DIOFANTOS” within the framework of a programmatic agreement with the Region of Western Greece.
