After the infodays on projects implementation, the Managing Authority clarifies some doubts to the beneficiaries, regarding the meaning of Art. 2.1 of the Subsidy Contract and article 10 of the Fist Call for proposals.
- In compliance with article 10 of the Call, the project expiration date is calculated 24 months from the date of the contact signature?
- The reply is “YES” due to the fact that in both Subsidy Contract (article 2.1) and the approved call (article 10), is mentioned “Projects should be concluded within a maximum period of twenty four (24) months after the signing of the Contract”
- In compliance with article 9 of the Call, is it possible to start the implementation of the project before the date of the signature of the Subsidy Contract?
- The reply is “YES” it is possible to start the implementation of the project before the date of the signature of the Subsidy Contract but in any case after 1/1/2014, and it should not have been concluded before the official launch of the respective call for proposals”.
- In compliance with the combination meaning of articles 9 and 10 of the Call, is it possible to implement the project activities during a period of more than 24 months in case that it commences before the signature of the Subsidy Contract?
- The reply is “YES” it is possible to implement the project activities during a period of more than 24 months in case that it commences before the signature of the Subsidy Contract. With other words this a technical solution (of a kind of time extension) which is common practice during the implementation phase of the projects and the target is to facilitate the beneficiaries to participate in the technical meetings for the optimization of budget and the preparation of the Contacts (Subsidy and Partnership agreement). For your convenience we point out that in the MIS “Section A” in the field of “Start” the beneficiaries have the possibility to fill-in a date before the date of the signing of the contracts.
