The “Creative Industry” International Festival, organized by the Region of Western Greece – Regional Development Fund, will take place on 29 November 2021 at the Ksystri Theme Park in Pyrgos -Elis. The scope of its operations, taking a hybrid form, is focused on the cultural industries.
The “Creative Industries” are among the most important sectors for strengthening the global economy, consisting of arts and crafts, architecture, filmmaking, photography, music, theater, new technologies, etc. and their main activity is the “ability to create”.
The main goal is to establish an International meeting Festival of the representatives of the creative industry and creative SMEs, whose main activity is the “ability to create”.
It is a pilot event organized by the Region of Western Greece – Regional Development Fund for the implementation of the actions of the Creative@Hubs project at the 3 Regional Units of Aetolia-Acarnania, Achaia and Elis, focusing on the creation of collaborative workspaces-hubs relating to creative SMEs in the cultural industry sector.
The Region of Western Greece, along with the Regional Development Fund, participates in the Creative@Hubs project as a lead partner, side by side with the Region of Ionian Islands, the Region of Epirus and the Region of Puglia (Italy).
The above action is organized in the framework of the “Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People”.
