The volume “Special Issues on Regional Entrepreneurship & Innovation Planning” has been published by the Regional Development Fund of the Region of Western Greece and the Centre for Planning and Economic Research (CEPE) of Greece. ARTI and the Region of Puglia contributed with two chapters: the fourth one entitled “The Apulian Ιnnovation overview, a tool for better informed public decisions”, edited by Annamaria Fiore, Head of ARTI Strategic Area for Economic Research and Statistical Information.
The fifth chapter, “Regional aid to companies, a proposal for additional evaluation criteria”, edited not only by Fiore but also by Gianna Elisa Berlingerio, Head of the Economic Development Department and Antonella Costanza of the Regional Competitiveness and Research Section of the production systems.
This is the contributions that ARTI presented at the conference organised in the framework of the Interreg Greece-Italy Egov-INNO project on 23 July 2020.
The volume is the result of the collaboration between Puglia Region, the Region of Western Greece and KEPE on regional development issues. In particular, it shows how statistics and analysis can help Western Greece and Puglia Decision makers but also other EU regions, to understand the current contexts in order to tailor strategies and define policies on entrepreneurship and innovation.
