The Chamber of Aetoloakarnania, organizes the 1st Workshop – “Historical events as a source of inspiration in art and added value in the cultural industry” within Creative@Hubs project on Saturday, 3rd of July 2021 at 18:30 p.m., in collaboration with “Directorate of Development of the Prefecture of Aetolia – Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports & Employment.
The workshop will be held in Messolonghi at the exhibition hall of the Chrysogelos Building,
The workshop will focus on the enormous influence exerted by the events of the Greek revolution, culminating in the departure of Messolonghi to the work of the French romantic painter Eugene Delacroix . The workshop will be the occasione to collect fruitful ideas for the production of cultural industry products. The two keynote speakers will be the philologist Mr. Dimitrios Draganas and the tour guide, head of the program “Aetolian Hospitality” Mr. George Apostolakos.
