Interreg Creative@hubs: 24 seminars and consulting workshops for creative businesses

2 business meetings were held in Agrinio (10 May 2021) and Messolonghi (13 May 2021) by the Chamber of Commerce of Aetoloakarnania for creative businesses and entrepreneurs and professionals in the cultural industry within the strategic project Creative@Hubs in collaboration with “Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival”, “DRO-Citizens’ Movement”, “ART8” and “Messolonghi by Locals”.

The development opportunities created by the implementation of the program and the creation of the two hubs in Aitoloakarnania and the development of synergies with institutions, associations, professionals, organizations are the key issues of 24 seminars. The common goal is the transmission of experiences, knowledge, techniques, strategies, innovative practices and models, in order increase the competitiveness and create conditions for business growth and development of creative business enterprises and the development of a common vision for the cultural industry and the place.

The first consulting workshop within the strategic project CREATIVE@HUBS, will be co-organized by the Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival, the DRO-Citizens’ Movement and the Chamber of Aitoloakarnania for Aitoloakarnania and will have the theme “How antiquities affect art” and will be held in the courtyard of the tobacco warehouses of Papastratos (concrete building) in Agrinio on Friday, 4/6/2021, at 21:00. The keynote speaker will be Dimitris Plantzos, professor of classical archeology, National and Kapodistrian Univercity of Athens. The panel will include Stavros Benos, president of the Diazoma Association, Michalis Kotsaris, engraver and Georgios Stamatis, president of the Historical-Archaeological Society of Western Central Greece.

The other two seminars will take place in September and will have as their object the presentation of the photographic work of Mr. Pavlos Fysakis and Mr. Stratos Kalafatis, highlighting the aesthetic and artistic look of the creator, technical approaches regarding the evolution of the artist photographer and professional in time through their life project.
