Interreg Jump: 2 open calls for eco-design workshop and music masterclass

The two calls for the selection of the participants that will attend the eco-design workshop and the Music masterclass are officially open!

Both laboratory activities will take place in Putignano, at the former slaughterhouse, as part of the actions implemented by the Lead Beneficiary – Municipality of Putignano, within JUMP project;

The Eco-design workshop

Deadline for the submission of the applications: 16th March 2021 at 01:00 p.m. (CET)

Jump Eco-Design workshop

The eco-design workshop is targeted at 10 young designers, artists and craftsmen, between 18 and 35, who have experience in the field of artistic production and design. The young participants, lead by expert designers, will jointly work during 1 month, for the design and creation of a line of eco-sustainable products.

The participation of the Eco-Design workshop envisages a reimbursement of expenses of € 300.00 (three hundred) per participant.

The Music Masterclass

Deadline for the submission of the applications: 31st March 2021 at 12:00 (CET)

The Music Masterclass is targeted at young people aged between 18 and 30 with a diploma and/or enrolled in the last year of a pre-academic course and/or an academic course at one of the Conservatories of Apulia.

The aim is to provide knowledge and acquire new and different expressive and technical potential on musical instruments.

The masterclass, scheduled for 29/30/31 May and 1 June 2021, will be addressed to 20 young musicians according to a specific structure that will make it possible to create a real musical ensemble:

  • 8 violins;
  • 2 violas;
  • 2 cellos;
  • 1 double bass/electric bass;
  • 1 accordion;
  • 2 flutes;
  • 1 piccolo;
  • 1 piano;
  • 1 drummer;
  • 1 percussionist
  • Five auditors will also be admitted.

At the end of the Masterclass all participants will perform in two concerts that will be held in the towns of Putignano and Conversano. A selection of 10 of the musicians who took part in the masterclass will have the opportunity also to perform in the final concert that will be organised in Corfu.
