Acquedotto Pugliese organizes a technical seminar “Technological innovation in the management of the wastewaters: the case of Gallipoli”, within the activities of Interreg Re-Water project.
The event is accredited to the Order of Engineers of Lecce and will take place on October, 24th and 25th at the Galleria dei due Mari, in the Angevin Castle of Gallipoli.
On Thursday, 24th the workshop will focus on innovative actions of the water treatment; in particular, the speakers will analyze the pilot action and the techniques envisaged by the project for the STP of Gallipoli.
On the next day, an on-site visit will take place on the plant. The participation will be possible upon registration.
Project Re-water aims to facilitate the introduction of eco-technologies and processes in the management of wastewaters. Re-Water ‘s objective is to prevent marine water pollution through the installation of innovative technology in wastewater treatment plants; in particular, the project aims to improve the management and further reuse of urban wastewater.
The partnership includes Acquedotto Pugliese as the lead partner, The Polytechnic of Bari, the Municipality and the University of Patras, the Water Resources Section of the Puglia Region, and the Municipal Enterprise of Water Supply and Sewerage of Patras.
