It’s official! The Interreg V-A Greece-Italy Programme has reached and surpassed the N+3 expenditure target, with €30,900,000 certified and a positive expenditure trend still ongoing.
This is the best sign of resilience to Covid-19 that the beneficiaries of Greece-Italy funds could have demonstrated. Despite the restrictions, the lockdown and the physical distance, everybody strived to reinvent activities, meetings, services and infrastructures thank to the digital supports, the simplification of procedures and the creative and collaborative common approach.
Europe is alive in the territories of the Puglia Region in Italy, in Region of Western Greece, Region of Epirus and Ionian Islands in Greece with concrete and tangible results thank to 58 cooperation projects that have a common goal: improving the lives of European citizens in the involved areas, by reducing the economic and social differences of the territories.
