The Road Trip Project is back! Submit your application until 24 July

The Road Trip Project is an initiative of the EU’s Regional and Urban Policy department of the European Commission.

This project gives the chance to 8 travellers, EU citizen or resident aged between 18-30 years old, to discover Europe, by showing ‘what’s up, Europe?’.

The 8 travellers will form two teams and hit the road between 23 August and 29 September 2019. One team will go from Finland to the Canary Islands, while the other will go from Ireland to Cyprus – spanning roughly 20 countries and experiencing Europe in a different way.

If you are video maker, copywriter, photographer and a presenter, we are looking for you!

You will be completing tasks throughout and producing content for our social media and the website every week.

HOW TO APPLY

You’ll need to complete the application form and include a one-minute video, presenting yourself and why we should choose you, plus upload some examples of your work (professional or personal) to support the application.

DEADLINE  24 July 2019

HOW DOES THE APPLICATION PROCESS WORK?

Once submitted, your application will undergo a screening. Eligible profiles will be featured on our website for a public vote. As soon as it lands on the public vote page, you can gather your friends to vote for you! After the public vote ends, our jury will select finalists. If you are among the 16 finalists, you will be invited to Brussels for the final selection of the 8 travellers.

WHAT WILL I DO ON THE ROAD?

Don’t forget it’s not just about travelling, you’ll get to have fun while gaining experience, discovering more about Europe and yourself. You will be completing tasks throughout and producing content for our social media and the website every week.
