Teatro Pubblico Pugliese, Lead partner of Interreg NeTT project, organizes two public round tables that will be held on 18 October in Ruvo di Puglia and on 19 October in Lecce, with the cooperation of “Tra il Dire e il Fare” Cultural Association in Ruvo and “Cantieri Teatrali Koreja” Cooperative in Lecce.
The two meetings mark the beginning of a path aimed to create a local network that has a common vision for the creation of touristic routes focused on the theater and the performative activities, trait d’union between tourism, cultural and natural heritage, typical products and handcraft.
After the meeting, a press conference will present the two theatrical productions: “Casa D’Altri” directed by “Tra il Dire e il Fare Association” and “Racconti di Pietra – Stories of stone” directed by Cantieri Teatrali Koreja.
Casa d’Altri is an emotional experience in which the visitors can visit the cultural sites by enjoying several artistic performances that will involve the participants in an authentic travel experience.
Stories of Stone – archetypes of earth, stone and fairy tale is a project that starts from the research of natural places, in order to draw a map of symbols in which it is possible to storytell stories and characters through the visual arts, music and dance.
NeTT project, funded by the European Union under Interreg Greece-Italy Cooperation Programme, is led by Teatro Pubblico Pugliese in cooperation with one Italian partner, the Petruzzelli Opera House and Theatres of Bari Foundation and three Greek partners, the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Corfù, the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Patras and the Chamber of Commerce of Achaia. Moreover, Regione Puglia – Department of Economy of Culture, Tourism and Valorization of the Territory takes part in the project as associated partner.
